What we use data for
When you visit, technically necessary connection data arise (for example IP address, page requested, time, browser). We use them to provide and protect the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Language follows the URL: German with no prefix, English under /en. There is no automatic redirect by country or browser. A visible language suggestion may appear; it stores nothing unless you use it. Switching language sets the strictly necessary NEXT_LOCALE cookie. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Via the contact form we process name, email, topic, message and optionally company and country, so that we can reply. The message is sent to us by email. Without the required fields we cannot respond. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
To improve the website we measure reach and performance with Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights: without cookies and without lasting identification. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may object by emailing us.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Vercel, including hosting and reach measurement. We send contact enquiries through Resend. To protect the form we use Upstash Redis: IP address and an email hash, each only for a few minutes. Vercel, Resend and Upstash are based in the United States; we use the EU’s standard contractual clauses to keep European data-protection standards in place. We do not sell data.
Retention
We usually keep enquiries for up to 24 months after the last contact, or longer where a mandate is formed and Cyprus law requires it. Technical logs are kept only briefly; abuse-protection data for a few minutes.
Cookies
We do not use advertising tracking. The only cookie is NEXT_LOCALE for the language you choose; it is strictly necessary. Colour scheme stays on your device only. Reach and performance measurement do not set cookies.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing. Write to the email address above. We do not take automated decisions. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority, in Cyprus the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
